Northeastern

Northeastern University provides students and faculty with a unique college/university experience. Since day one in 1898, Northeastern has strived to provide students with innovative teaching and real-world experience. Northeastern is home to nine different undergraduate colleges, including the Bouvé College of Health Sciences, offering students with endless opportunities in the sciences, humanities, and arts. Students can choose from more than 290 majors and still have the opportunity to build real connections with academic advisors, professors, and other faculty/staff of the University, especially made possible by the incredible 16:1 student to faculty ratio.

Experiential learning has been a key component of the Northeastern experience for over 100 years. Northeastern University's focus on experiential learning offers students real-world working experience before they even graduate from the University. The infamous Cooperative Education (Co-Op) model provides students connections with a field of interest, skills and knowledge to succeed in a career, and many more opportunities. About 93% of students participate in a co-op in the field of their choice. Students can choose to work in a buisness firm, hospital/clinic pediatric medicine department, research lab, engineering corporation, journalism company, tech/software company, and thousands of other options.
